The true fact is that they are not wrong. The success does not lie in the opportunity, but in you. You can give the worst opportunity to a person who desperately needs an income and he will make a huge success from it. There are a couple of things that can make your life easier. I have been around the internet and home based business arena for 9 years now. I have tried just about every business you can think off and I found that:
1.	A business that requires you to sell a physical product limits your market and the products are normally expensive due the fact that commission must be built into the price. Think for yourself, if you are 1.8 metres tall and weigh 50 Kg and you see an ad saying “Loose weight, ask me how”, would you respond to the ad? Of course not!
2.	A business that pays you an ongoing income for the same effort works best. Why would you want to sell products to earn commission and next month start at R0.00 again? Look for a business where you can earn an ongoing referral income. Do the work once and get paid for ever.
3.	The business must be simple and easy to explain.
4.	There must be a need for the product or service.
I can go on with the list. The fact is that I have tried various businesses over the past 9 years and finally I found a business which is working for me. It is easy, affordable, in demand, pays well and pays on time for the past 18 months.
